Gujarat Titans had an interesting time ahead of the auctions for the IPL 2024. The finalists of the last season retained their skipper Hardik Pandya and soon after traded him to Mumbai Indians in a shocking move.
Subsequently, they announced Shubman Gill as their new skipper ahead of the new season. Gujarat Titans had their task cut out in the auctions as they had to find an able replacement for the charismatic all-rounder.
Walking into the auctions, they had a massive purse of INR 38.15 crore.

Gujarat Titans had a big purse but they needed to be smart with their signings as they had a lot to do. They opened their account by signing the Afghanistan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai for INR 50 lakh. Following that, they signed the Indian pacer Umesh Yadav for INR 5.80 crore.
Shahrukh Khan, for INR 7.40 crore, was their next big-money signing. In addition to that, they shelled out a whopping INR 10 crore for the Aussie pacer Spencer Johnson. The Titans from Gujarat also signed Kartik Tyagi for INR 60 lakh to bolster their pace attack.
Furthermore, they signed the wicketkeeper-batter Robin Minz for INR 3.60 crore to conclude their IPL 2024 auctions.
