After facing 8 wickets loss at the hands of Somerset in the opening clash, Glamorgan will look to get back on track with a win when they face off Gloucestershire tonight in the second encounter at College Ground, Cheltenham.
Put in to bat first, Jeremy Lawlor (43 of 30) and David Lloyd (57 of 37) gave a fantastic start to Glamorgan with skipper Colin Ingram (50 of 28) taking up the score to 180-5 in twenty overs. In reply, Somerset chased down the total with eight wickets in hand and two overs to spare, courtesy Tom Banton’s blistering 34-ball 64 and Peter Trego’s unbeaten 47 of 31 deliveries.
Gloucestershire will look to get their Vitality Blast campaign underway with a win. They had a fantastic outing against Leicestershire in the warmup match ahead of the tournament where they secured 6 wickets win and will look to carry forward the momentum today.
