The wait and apprehension continues for the fans of the Indian cricket about the confirmation of 4 players who are to participate in the Asia XI vs World XI match which is set to take place on March 18 and 21 in Bangladesh.
Earlier there were reports that the BCCI has zeroed in on 4 top players from India namely Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Kuldeep Yadav, and Mohammad Shami but the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has thrashed all those false reports and has said that there are still talks going on about the players.
The 2 match T20I series have been given international status by the ICC which is hosted by the Bangladesh cricket board to honour the 100th anniversary of Sheikh Majibur Rahman, who is regarded as the father of Bangladesh.

The major part of the Asia XI will consist of players from India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. It was reported that the aforementioned players will be taking part from India in this competition but Sourav Ganguly has denied any such reports.
We are seeing the availability of the players and based on that we will finalise the names. The talk is still on,
