BCCI have shortlisted four names for two vacant positions in the national selection panel. The first position is of the chairman of the panel was earlier held by MSK Prasad, while the second was of a panel member earlier held by Gagan Khoda.
Chetan Sharma, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, Nayan Mongia, Venkatesh Prasad, and Ajit Agarkar, Abey Kuruvilla, Rajesh Chauhan and Amay Khurasiya were among the applicants.
As per reports, the BCCI has shortlisted Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, Ajit Agarkar, Venkatesh Prasad, and Rajesh Chauhan for the vacant posts.
The Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), Madan Lal, Rudra Pratap Singh, and Sulakshana Nail, will interview the shortlisted candidates within the next ten days.
New BCCI selectors for next series
The newly-elected selection committee will pick the team for India’s next assignment, the three-match ODI series against South Africa starting from March 12.
