Essex Eagles will be facing Sussex Sharks in their second game of Vitality Blast 2019 which will mark the next match of South division which will be played at the County Ground in Chelmsford. Essex Eagles are coming into this game after getting defeated by Middlesex in their opening encounter.
Both Essex Eagles and Surrey were eluded of a knockout berth in the last edition and would be eyeing to get it done this time around. The Eagles could only win 2 matches out of the 14 they played last year and those two wins didn’t do any good for them. With a new season, they will definitely look to shrug off their last season’s disappointment and start fresh.
Surrey, on the other hand, missed the knockouts berth by just one win as they finished 5th in the South division with 7wins from 14 games. One more win and they could have breached the top four and things would have been different altogether. Qualifying for the knockouts would be the only thing on their radar now.
