ESS vs MID Dream11 English One Day Cup Match Prediction | Essex vs Middlesex

After a dominating show against Glamorgan in their opening game of the season, the Essex Eagles will now lock horns against Middlesex at the County Ground in Chelmsford. This would be a South Group encounter.

It was sheer dominating stuff from the Essex Eagles in their tournament opener against Glamorgan where the registered a thumping victory by 180 runs courtesy Varun Chopra’s 111 from 133 deliveries and then a 3-fer from all-rounder Ravi Bopara for 26 runs from 7 overs. Varun Chopra’s brilliance helped them get to a mammoth 326 and then it was Ravi Bopara, Samuel Cook and Peter Siddle who in cohesion scalped 7 wickets in between them to restrict Glamorgan for a mere 146.

Meanwhile, Middlesex will be playing their first match of the season tomorrow and would be eyeing a winning start to set the tone early in the tournament. They did not have a good season last time around as they finished 6th in the South Group table with 4 wins and 4 loss against their name.
