Glamorgan host Essex to start their Royal London One Day Cup 2019 campaign at Sophia Gardens on Wednesday. The hosts had a horror tournament in the last edition and would want to make amends for the dismal performances. They would want to get off to a positive start in front of their fans.
Meanwhile, Essex will come out looking to replicate last year’s performances, starting with a win in their tournament opener. Essex had finished second on South Group Points table last year, with five wins in eight league outings.
