Hello again, folks. We are back with the fantasy preview of the match between England vs West Indies 4th ODI Dream11 Team Prediction. This would be fixture number 4 and it would be penultimate ODI of the series. After winning the last match, England stands 2-0 in a 5 match series with one match washed away. This means West Indies cannot save the series now. The series now moves to Kennington oval, London, with West Indies still seeking a win in ODIs.
Apart from Root, nobody from the top order scored well in last match, but that was not going to stop England from scoring 350+. With handy contributions from Root and Stokes, England were going towards a healthy total already when moeen Ali went berserk, and made sure Windies were out of the game even before their innings. The fate of the match was decided in the first half already. The remaining job was done by Plunkett with a 5-fer.
For half the innings when they were bowling, Windies were disciplined. Once Moeen Ali carnage happened, they were all over the place. But batting was what let them down again. 370 was always going to be a steep chase, and their batters didn’t help that cause. Apart from Gayle no one ever looked to bat the full innings and when Gayle fell for his Achilles heel, running between the wickets, it didn’t take much to collapse. It will again take an enormous effort from West Indies to change the things from where they stand now.
When and Where:
Wednesday 27th September, 2017; 12:30 UK Time
Kennington Oval, London.
Pitch Conditions:
As true for many Grounds in England now-a-days, this historical venue also provides help to batsman and it will be a high scoring match again. England scored 369 in the last match. The conditions here will also be helpful to them and they might also cross 300 again. Windies on the other hand have to bat really well to get near England.
Team News:
England: Just before the declaration of their Ashes squad, England would have liked their squad as it was. But Unfortunate arrest of Ben Stokes means they need a replacement. Alex Hales will also not be playing tomorrow, meaning Jason Roy will be called back. Jake Ball and Tom Curan might replace Stokes, but none would be as effective as him.
Windies: Windies suffered in bowling department in their last match. But their least economical bowlers were leading wicket takers, too. Bench strength lacks experience, too. There is a chance Holder would go with this combination in London once again and give the team a chance to settle in the roles.
