Welcome to our Preview for ENG vs AUS Ashes 4th Test. Australia have won the series already and they are certainly deserve so. England have to change their ways of playing to come closer. This is preview and Playing XI for the England vs Australia 4th Ashes test.
After what has been an humiliating series for England, the action now moves to Melbourne. Australia will like to win and dominate the series even more. While England will play to regain some pride.
The last test, just like all the other tests in the tour, saw a batting collapse from the English batsmen. Smith, the Aussie skiper was again boasting of his scores. Talk about a purple patch.
Apart from that, Mitch Marsh scored his first ever test century, when the team needed it the most. Starc bowled arguably the “ball of the century” on the pitch that had scary cracks.
England batsmen were once again stood in the middle looking for the clues. Batsmen like Cook and Root didn’t play upto their potential, and a little was left to defend. The result was them losing the Ashes, even before the boxing day Test.
