Hello and Welcome to our preview for England vs Windies match. We are covering ENG vs WI Dream 11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the ODI match. The match is to be played at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.
The first match at Barbados was interrupted by a storm and rain. It was Gayle storm and rain of runs. Windies batted first and raised a mammoth total of 360/8 but it proved short as England breezed to a comfortable win. The visitors won by six wickets.
Gayle took time to settle down but then he started exhibiting his power. As many as seven balls were lost as the Universe Boss kept smashing them out of the park. Gayle’s 135 was supported Shai Hope and Darren Bravo. The Windies side struck 22 sixes which is a world record. They failed to back up their performance with the ball.
England’s bowling was not up to the mark except Adil Rashid and Ben Stokes. However, the batting unit made up for it. Jason Roy struck a blazing 123 from 85 balls. Joe Root supported with 102(97). Morgan’s 65 and late order contributions helped England secure the win with 8 balls remaining.
Windies fielding was shoddy in the match; they will want to improve the effort. England will be taking a hard look at their bowling department.
