England Women defeated India by 41 runs to get a 1-0 lead in T20I series. Batting first, England Women scored 160 runs with Tammy Beaumont being the top scorer for her 62 run knock. Danielle Wyatt and Heather Knight also played good knocks of 35 and 40 respectively. Radha Yadav starred for India taking two wickets and was supported by economical spells from Shikha Pandey and Poonam Yadav.
Chasing the target, India’s top order collapsed miserably but handy knocks of 22* and 23* from Deepti and Shikha Pandey led them to a respectable total but were left behind by 41 runs. Katherine Brunt and Linsey Smith took two scalps each for visitors with latter taking wickets of in-form Mandhana and Rodrigues in one over.
England Women will come all guns blazing to defeat India and win the T20I series while Team India will be determined to bounce back and level the series.

Anya Shrubsole and Katherine Brunt will lead the pace attack along with N Sciver and Kate Cross while Linsey Smith and Alex Hartley will be the key spinners. H Knight can also bowl a few overs of spin.
India Women:
Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur is ruled out due to injury and Smriti Mandhana will handle the captaincy duties in her absence.
Talented young pacer Komal Zanzad can replace Arundhati Reddy in the playing XI.
Smriti Mandhana and Harleen Deol will open the innings. J Rodrigues, Mithali Raj, V Krishnamurthy and Taniya Bhatia will follow them.
Deepti Sharma and Shikha Pandey will play the role of an allrounder.
Poonam Yadav and Radha Yadav will lead the spin attack along with Deepti Sharma. A Reddy/Komal Zanzad and Shikha Pandey will be the key pacers for India.
Team management can replace Mithali Raj with Anuja Patil as they lack confidence on Mithali in T20I format.
