Team News:

ENG-A:

Sam Curran and Craig Overton are with England international side and will not be available for selection, however, after the remaining two ODIs of ENG vs AUS series they will be back into the EN-A side.

Chris Jordan is called in place of Craig Overton and only available for first two matches of tri-series.

IND-A:

Mayank Agarwal was retired hurt in the previous match because team management wants to give chance to other players. So you can expect him in the opening slot along with Prithvi Shaw.

There is lack of certainty in the choice of wicketkeeper for IN-A side, Ishan Kishan scored 50 runs in the first practice match while Rishab Pant was unable to do a good performance in the chance given to him in the second practice match. But if we go by the IPL and domestic form, Rishab Pant has more chances of getting picked ahead of Ishan Kishan.

Shardul Thakur didn’t play in both practice matches as he was in India practicing with MS Dhoni at National Cricket Academy,  but he has reached England and expected to get a straight entry into the playing XI.

If Shardul plays anyone of K Khaleel Ahmed or Prasidh Krishna has to make way for him.

After a stellar performance in the second practice match, IN-A is unlikely to make too many changes.

Probable Playing XI:
