In Group G of the FIBA World Cup, the first games between all the four teams started the competition well playing brilliant games against each other.
While Germany lost narrowly to France by 74-78, Dominican Republic edged past Jordan by 80-76.
Germany though will be fancying their chances against the Dominican Republic team.
