The 29th game of the CSA T20 Challenge 2019 will see a game being played between Dolphins and Cape Cobras, who are two high flying sides, on Sunday.
Cape Cobras are in the second spot even though they have the most number of wins. The team will be looking to prove itself to be a franchise who can actually win titles again. They have some of the best players in the league, and now with JP Duminy also in the roster, the side has some much-needed experience to take themselves to the next stage. They have five games out of nine played, the most by anyone, but that won’t be enough to guarantee the title this year.
Meanwhile, Dolphins were the runner’s up of the tournament last year, and have been a shadow of their former selves. The franchise finally looking like a team who can actually play cricket at this level, and with only one game remaining is eyeing a sneaky look into the top-four. Even though the odds are still there for them to make it happen, it will take everything out of the players to make this happen. The management and the coaches have got this shot at redeeming themselves, and they won’t be messing around, given they already have experienced defeat in a high stakes game in the past.
