Team Delhi is enjoying a good run in this year’s tournament and won the quarter final against Haryana by five wickets. Kulwant Khejroliya is in lethal form and took six wickets and was well supported by Navdeep Saini who took three wickets. Gautam Gambhir scored a brilliant knock of 104 runs in 72 balls. Dhruv Shorey also scored 50 runs for his team in winning cause. They will hope to give similar performance in all the three departments to win the semi-final.

Jharkhand have been undefeated yet in the tournament and are on winning streak of 8 matches in a row. In last match, Their bowlers bowled extremely well to stop Maharashtra at 181. Anukul Roy took a four wicket haul while Rahul Shukla and Varun Aaron took three and two wickets each. Half century by S Sanjay Rathour and some handy contribution by Saurabh Tiwary and Ishan Kishan was enough to chase the target easily. They will hope to continue the momentum in crucial semi final match.

A good match can be expected between both top teams and the winner will reach the final of Vijay Hazare trophy 2018 while Loser will be knockout of the tournament.

The Indian One-day squad member are set to report in Guwahati on 18 October so Rishabh Pant playing chance is very less.

Subodh Bhati can replace Pranshu Vijayran in the playing XI.

Unmukt Chand, Gautam Gambhir, Nitish Rana, Dhruv Shorey and Himmat Singh will lead the batting department. All are in good form.

Kulwant Khejroliya and Navdeep Saini will lead the pace department of team while Pawan Negi, Manan Sharma and Lalit Yadav will be the key spinners. Nitish Rana and Dhruv Shorey can also bowl few overs of spin.

Jharkhand:

Place of Sumit Kumar is risky because of his lacklustre performance throughout the season and Utkarsh Singh can replace him.

Ishan Kishan, Anand Singh, Saurabh Tiwary and Kumar Deobrat will be the key batsmen. Anukul Roy will play the role of all rounder.
