The second match of Australia A tour of UK will be played today at County Ground, Derby. Australia A started their campaign with a convincing 6 wickets win over Northamptonshire and will look to carry forward the momentum against Derbyshire.
Having put to the ball first, visitors did a fine job in restricting Northamptonshire and 262-9 in the allotted 50 overs. Ashton Agar picked three wickets along with Jos Hazlewood and Mitch Marsh’s combined four wickets. Coming to chase, Matthew Wade’s 117 of 67 deliveries along with Peter Handscomb’s 64 of 57 deliveries helped Australia- A secure six wickets win with 14 overs sto spare.
