Delhi Capitals have finally provided a moment of joy for fans by performing well in IPL’19 and are third on the points table with seven wins and four losses. They won their last match against Rajasthan Royals by 6 wickets. Bowling first, Delhi failed to restrict Royals leading to a target of 192 runs. Kagiso Rabada took two crucial scalps and was supported by Ishant Sharma. Chasing the target, Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan gave a good start to the team scoring 42 and 54 respectively. Batting first, AB de Villiers played attacking knock of 82* runs in 44 balls and was supported by Parthiv and Stoinis to give a whopping target of 203 runs. Defending the target, Umesh Yadav finally found his lost form taking three-wicket haul and was supported by Navdeep Saini, Stoinis and Moeen to provide a much-needed win to RCB. Bangalore will be determined to continue their winning streak and keep their chances of qualification alive by defeating Delhi tomorrow at the slow track of Kotla.

Sandeep Lamichhane is likely to return in the playing XI considering spin-friendly track of Kotla. Anyone among Morris or Rutherford will be replaced.

Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw will open the innings. Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant and Colin Ingram will follow them.

Axar Patel and C Morris/Rutherford will play the role of an allrounder. K Rabada can also contribute with the bat.

Sandeep Lamichhane, Axar Patel and Amit Mishra will lead the spin attack while Kagiso Rabada and Ishant Sharma will be the key pacers.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

Dale Steyn is ruled out of IPL’19 due to a shoulder injury.

Moeen Ali has joined England national team for upcoming series. Colin De Grandhomme can be likely replacement for him. Heinrich Klassen or Hetymer can also get a chance. Klassen can get the nod because of his better record against spin.

Talented all-rounder Shivam Dube can replace Akshdeep Nath in the playing XI while Anyone among Pawan Negi and W Sundar can play. Negi can get a game due to his familiarity with Kotla stadium.

Virat Kohli will open the innings along with Parthiv Patel. Ab De Villiers and M Stoinis will strengthen the middle order. Akshdeep Nath/Dube will follow them.

M Stoinis and W Sundar/Pawan Negi will play the role of an allrounder. Tim Southee can also do big hitting.

Tim Southee, Navdeep Saini and Umesh Yadav will lead the pace attack along with Marcus Stoinis while Yuzi Chahal and Sundar/Negi will be the key spinners.
