Delhi Capitals will face off Kolkata Knight Riders in their next match of Indian Premier League in Sharjah tonight. Delhi as well as Kolkata have two wins from three matches so far. Though Delhi is coming with a loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad while Kolkata is coming with a win over Rajasthan Royals and now both the teams will fight against each other for yet another two important points.

Strengths :
Delhi Capitals have a balanced side and so far their batting as well as bowling have done well. Although Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawn need to bat carefully against the new ball and they can do that then they can set the platform for a big one and then they have a good middle order in Iyer, Hetmyer, Pant and Stoinis who can do a lot of damage. In the bowling Kagiso Rabada with 7 wickets from 3 matches have been good so far and the likes of Anrich Nortje, Amit Mishra and Axar Patel too have done well and if R Ashwin comes then it will boost their morale further.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders’ major strength is their bowling attack as they have more than six bowling options in their line up and also their main batsmen Shubman Gill and Eoin Morgan are in fine touch and captain Dinesh Karthik and big man Andre Russell too can do a lot of damage down the order so their batting line up looks good and in bowling Pat Cummins and youngsters Shivam Mavi, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Varun Chakravarthy have been good so far.
Weaknesses :
Delhi Capitals’ weakness is the poor strike rotation of their batsmen as most of them hit boundaries but then struggle to rotate the strike especially Dhawan and Iyer who have been very poor when it comes to rotation so they need to work on that and also Shimron Hetmyer has been poor with bat and his form is a concern for them and all rounder Stoinis can be promoted to number 4 if Delhi lose their second wicket after 10th over.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders’ weakness is the poor form of Narine as he eats a lot of balls in the opening and it creates pressure on Shubman Gill and also Nitish Rana and captain Dinesh Karthik have struggled to score runs and they all bat in top five and it puts a lot of pressure on Eoin Morgan and Andre Russell so they need to change their batting line up and Morgan can be promoted to four and Karthik can come at 5 or 6 according to the match situation.
