Sunrisers Hyderabad could be without their captain David Warner for the early part of IPL 2020 as per reports. The reports suggest that SRH captain Warner’s visa application has been rejected by the government of India. There is confirmation on the reason for the visa rejection. Recently, the government of India had imposed visa restrictions in the wake of the coronavirus situation.
IPL franchises would without their overseas players at least till April 15 as per media reports. The tournament is currently under jeopardy amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
As of now, there is no clarity over whether the thirteen edition of the Indian Premier League will get underway as scheduled. Also, there are reports suggesting that the tournament could take place behind closed doors.
The meeting of the IPL governing council on Saturday will give further clarity on the tournament.
