Cape Town Blitz is on top of points table with four wins. Yesterday, They defeated Jozi Stars by 62 runs. Batting first, Quinton De Kock and Janneman Malan played brilliant knocks of 74 and 66 runs respectively to lead the team to a good total of 198. A Nortje and G Linde were phenomenal with the ball taking three wickets each while D Steyn and A Phehlukwayo took two wickets each to ensure an easy win for Blitz. They will hope to continue their winning streak ahead in the tournament.

Paarl Rocks are right at bottom of the points table with two losses. They were defeated by Jozi Stars by 60 runs in the last encounter. Bowling first, No bowler could create a challenge for batsmen leading to a target of 210. Henry Davids was the only positive with the bat scoring 60 runs in 36 balls but could not get support from another end thus collapsing at 149. They will hope to forget their past results and give tough challenge to Table-toppers Cape Town Blitz.

Dawid Malan and M Nawaz are playing T10 league and will not play tomorrow’s match.

Ferisco Adams if fit can replace M Siboto in the playing XI.

As done earlier in the tournament, They can rest their pacers to keep them fresh. So Dale Steyn can be risky.

Quinton De Kock and Janneman Malan will open the innings. Asif Ali and Farhaan Behardien will follow them. Andile Phehlukwayo, Hussain Talat and George Linde will play the role of an allrounder.

Paarl Rocks:

Cameron Delport and Dwayne Bravo will not play as they are playing T10 league in Dubai.

Faf Du Plessis, Aiden Markram and Tabraiz Shamsi will play tomorrow’s match replacing Patrick Kruger, Grant Thomson and B Fortuin/T Moreki.

Michael Klinger and Henry Davids are likely to open the innings. Aiden Markram, Faf Du Plessis and Vaughn Van Jaarsveld will be the key batsmen. Mangaliso Mosehle will play the role of finisher.

Dane Paterson will be the key pacer along with David Wiese and E Bosch. T Shamsi will lead the spin attack. As per pitch conditions, pacer T Moreki or spinner B Fortuin can play.
