Durban Heat is on the bottom of the points table with one win and six losses. In the last match, They lost to Jozi Stars by 1 wicket. Batting first, Sarel Erwee played an attacking knock of 62 runs in 39 balls but could not get support from other end leading to a low total of 128 runs. David Miller also scored 29 runs. Defending the target, Rashid Khan spun his web and took a three wicket haul and was supported by Kyle Abbott who took two wickets but two sixes on last two balls of the match snatched victory from the Hands of Heat. They will hope to save their pride by putting a good show in last two matches and pull an upset by defeating Cape Town Blitz.

Asif Ali has failed to perform in all matches except his first match and can be risky.

Andile Phehlukwayo is also in poor form and can be replaced by George Linde or Kyle Verreynne.

Quinton De Kock and Janneman Malan will open the innings. Dawid Malan and Farhaan Behardien will follow them.

Vernon Philander is ruled out of the tournament due to a hairline fracture.

T20 Specialist Heinrich Klaasen can replace Temba Bavuma in the playing XI.

Sarel Erwee and Morne van Wyk will open the innings. Khaya Zondo and D Miller will follow them. Albie Morkel, Rashid Khan and K Maharaj will play the role of the all-rounder.

Kyle Abbott and T Bokako will lead the pace attack along with Albie Morkel while Rashid Khan and Keshav Maharaj will be the key spinners.
