It is now or never for both Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals who will be colliding in the second qualifier which will be played at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
It has been a tough journey for the Delhi based franchise who made it to the playoffs after a span of 7 long years, and here they are now in the second qualifier going head to head against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings. The win in the eliminator against SRH was their first knockout win of IPL which made them go one step closer to glory. The youth brigade has been exceptional in this season and would be keen to make their way into the finals.
As far as the Super Kings are concerned, they haven’t missed out on a playoffs berth ever since the tournament came into existence. They lost to Mumbai Indians by 6 wickets in the first qualifier which took place at the Chepauk in Chennai, which forced them to play this second qualifier.
Both teams will be raring to go especially when this is their last opportunity to feature in the final. The intensity would be high on either side which will make this battle an intriguing one for sure.
