The African cup of nations has now reached it’s knockout phase. Cameroon face Nigeria in the Round of 16 clash. Both Cameroon and Nigeria come into this game with a reputation of being unpredictable and erratic.
Nigeria faced a shock defeat against Madagascar in their final encounter of the group phase and consequently finished second in their group. The other two games that they played in the group were also less than convincing for a side of the caliber of Nigeria.
Cameroon, on the other hand drew their final league game against a resolute and stubborn Benin. The result came as a shock because they had 72% of the ball and even had 11 shots on goal but failed to score,
Coming into this important game both the teams will look to step their game up a notch and proceed to the quarterfinals
Here is a look at the game
The clash will take place at July 6, 2019, 09:30 PM, IST and can be streamed live on Sony Liv.
