CHI-W vs MEX-W | Second of the three FIH Women’s Series Finals is slated to be played at the Hiroshima Hockey Stadium. Chile Women will take on Mexico Women for the opening encounter. Chile won the FIH Series Open and won a silver medal at the Pan American Games after outplaying the USA in the semis. Riding high on confidence, Chile now will take on Mexico to gain an upper hand over Mexico.
Mexico, on the other hand, qualified for the FIH Series Finals after a 2nd place finish on their home soil in FIH Series Open Salamanca. Both the teams have met thrice since 2013 where Chile have won all. Mexico have failed to open their account in terms of goals as well, while Chile have scored 18 of them.
