Hello and Welcome to our preview for Central Stags vs Northern Knights match. We are covering CD vs NK Dream 11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Super Smash 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at the McLean Park, Napier.
This is the tussle between the table-toppers. Northern Knights occupy the top spot with six wins and one loss from their seven matches. Central Stags, the only team to defeat Northern Knights so far, is on the second place with four wins and two losses from their seven games.
Central Stags have stitched together a winning streak which is three matches long. Their last two wins came against Canterbury. Playing at Napier, the Stags piled up a 225-run mountain with Will Young (89), Foxcroft (50) and Bruce (71 from 30 balls) contributing. They then overcame Latham’s century to earn the 18-run win.
Incidentally, Northern Knights also defeated Canterbury in their last win. Nick Kelly scored a fantastic 56 at the top but apart from late help from Corey Anderson and Mitchell Santner, no one else stood up. Their bowling then rescued them as Daryl Mitchell defended 12 runs in the last over.
Knights and Stags met earlier in the fourth match of the tournament. Central Stags chased down Knights’ total of 156 comfortably. Tom Bruce scored a masterful 88 from 52 balls.
