Hello and Welcome to our preview for Central Districts vs Canterbury Ford Trophy match. We are covering CD vs CTB Dream11 Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the tenth and final round. The match is to be played at The Pukekura Park, New Plymouth.
New Zealand’s One Day domestic competition, Ford Trophy, is in the final segment of its league stage. Nine rounds have been completed and we now head into the tenth and final round of the tournament. With only three teams going ahead, both the teams playing here, CD and CTB are playing only for pride.
The tournament has been a mixed bag so far for Central Districts. They began by defeating Otago in their first game but lost three consecutive matches after that. They picked up a win against Auckland in the last match but it was not enough to save their campaign. Tom Bruce (87), Greg Hay (83), William Ludick (46, 1/23) and Ben Wheeler (1/18) were the star performers.
Canterbury won two out of its first three matches but has been on a losing spree ever since. The side has conceded six consecutive losses and shall hope to end on a high by defeating CD. They lost by four wickets against Otago in their last match. Bowes (104), Cam Fletcher (47), McConchie (42, 1/38) and Blake Coburn (2/47) could not take the team past the winning line.
