Chris lynn (Due to Shoulder Surgery) expected to play this match but slight bit doubt on him said Mccullum. he didn’t play in the Heat’s practice matches against the Melbourne Renegades on Friday and Saturday.
Pakistan leg-spinner Shadab Khan will make his Big Bash League debut for the Heat. Jack Prestwidge has been named as an injury replacement for allrounder Cameron Valente.

Stars named 13-player squad for season opener match. New Stars captain John Hastings will lead the side. Stars added Liam Bowe in the squad, who replace unavailabe Peter handscomb. who is on national duties.
