On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have depth in their batting as well as bowling and it makes them a stronger team. Captain Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock make a powerful opening pair and in the middle they have Suryakumar Yadav, Saurabh Tiwari and Hardik Pandya while Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard will play finishers’ role. In bowling Trent Boult and James Pattinson have been good with new ball and in the middle and death overs Jasprit Bumrah is taking the responsibility so they have a balanced side who on their day can smash anyone.
Weaknesses :
Royal Challengers Bangalore have a few weakness like the death overs bowling is still a big concern for them. Dale Steyn and Umesh Yadav have been poor with the new ball and are leaking a lot of runs and Steyn has struggled in the death overs as well. And Chris Morris is still not match fit so it’ll take some efforts from them to control things in death overs. And lack of support might affect Chahal and Saini’s form. In the batting Aaron Finch and Virat Kohli have struggled till now and if they don’t come good soon then their team can be in big trouble.
On the other hand, Mumbai Indians don’t have a major weakness but Pandya brothers’ form and Saurabh Tiwari’s strike rotation is a concern for them. Both Hardik and Krunal Pandya have to bat with responsibility and if they spend some time on crease then they may come good and Tiwari should work on his strike rotation and in the bowling Krunal and Rahul Chahar both have looked out of touch and they need to work on their lines as soon as possible else Mumbai might struggle because of their spinners.
