BHA vs CHE Dream11 Match Prediction: Brighton will be playing hosts to Chelsea as both sides are recently coming from a win in their respective final fixtures of 2019. Brighton beat Bournemouth 2-0 at home and are now 14th in the league with 23 points, whereas, Chelsea’s late win against Arsenal thanks to Jorginho and Tammy Abraham puts them four points clear at fourth with 35 points. Frank Lampard’s Chelsea unit will be hopeful to bag further three points on Newyears day, while Brighton should bring out their A-game in front of home support.
Date– Wednesday, January 1
Kick-Off– 6:00 PM (IST)
Venue– Falmer Stadium
Brighton
Graham Potter has minimal injury concerns and should put in a solid starting lineup against Chelsea. Alireza Jahanbaksh started for the very first time in the Premier League and scored the first goal in just three minutes for the hosts. Jahanbaksh will be expected to start once again here. Dale Stephens and Pascal Gross might have to settle for the bench for a consecutive time for the seagulls after an impressive performance against Bournemouth. Jose Izquierdo and Solly March are the only players ruled out due to injury.
Chelsea
Frank Lampard’s three at the back formation didn’t seem to work against Arsenal and could opt for a change in tactics. With Reece James out due to injury, Tariq Lamptey could get to start for the visitors. Marcos Alonso and Christian Pulisic should be assessed prior to kick-off and could have a part to play if fit.
BHA (Expected playing 11) – Ryan; Burn, Dunk, Webster, Montoya, Propper, Bissouma; Jahanbakhsh, Mooy, Trossard; Maupay
CHE (Expected Playing 11) – Arrizabalaga; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Zouma, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Willian, Abraham, Mount
Neal Maupay has been one of the standouts for Brighton. The 23-year-old has seven goals and assist with a pass accuracy of 82% from 1451 minutes in the league this season.
Tammy Abraham scored the winner against Arsenal and got his tally up to 12 in the league season along with three assists and a pass accuracy of 67.4% from 19 appearances,
Lewis Dunk has been impressive in the defence for Brighton and has even scored twice while making as many assists with a pass accuracy of 87% from 1620 minutes this season.
Willian has been pivotal in the attacking midfield region for Chelsea. The Brazilian international has four goals and four assists with a pass accuracy of 83.3% from 19 appearances in the league this season.
Considering Chelsea’s inconsistent run this season, Brighton might just be able to scrape a point at home.
