BCCI has confirmed that there will be no Pakistan players taking part in the 2 matches T20I series between Asia XI and World XI early next year

There were reports earlier this year that Bangladesh Cricket Board has decided to conduct a 2 Match T20I series in March 2020 to mark the birth Centenary of the nation’s founding father Sheikh Mujib ur Rahman.
Ever since the news came, there was buzz among the fans considering the fact that there is a chance that both India and Pakistan players could be teaming up together for the Asia XI.
There was huge anticipation among the fans and all were excited to see Virat and Babar in the same team.
In a sudden turn of events, BCCI has stated that there is no chance of Pakistan players playing in this tournament. Also, reports say that to avoid the fan wars and confusion among the 2 nations this decision has been taken. In this way, there will be no biased decisions as picking one over the other.
BCCI also confirmed that there will be at least 5 players from India, who will be sent to take part in the tournament as part of AsiaXI which will be selected by the President of BCCI, Sourav Ganguly.
No India vs Pakistan in the near future
The Bilateral series between India and Pakistan is currently suspended due to various political reasons. Although India and Pakistan are meeting each other in global tournaments like World Cup, Champions Trophy and Asia Cup.
One of the 2 matches between the World XI and the Asia XI match also has been slotted to play in the newly constructing stadium in Ahmedabad so that the ground will get Global attention that way. That ground is also said to have the largest capacity for any cricket ground in the world, approximately counting to 1 lakh 10 thousand.
