Bangladesh after performing poorly in group stage came back strong against Afghanistan eliminating them out of the race. Liton Das helped in giving a good start to the team while Imrul Kayes and Mahmudullah played brilliantly down the order scoring 72* and 74 respectively. In bowling, Mustafizur was real hero defending 8 runs in final over and also taking two wickets. M Mortaza also took two wickets. A similar performance will be expected from all players to qualify for final.

Pakistan was defeated in all departments by Mighty Indian team. Their strength their pace attack failed miserably against India. Shoaib Malik performed brilliantly with bat scoring 78 runs while S Ahmed also finally got some runs. However, no bowler was successful and could not even pick a single wicket leading to one of their biggest loss against India. They will hope to put a good show against Bangladesh and then challenge India on friday.

An exciting match can be anticipated between both teams in this do or die contest.

Experienced Junaid Khan can replace Mohammad Amir. Usman Khan also has slight chance.

F Zaman, I Ul Haq, Babar Azam, S Malik, and S Ahmed will be the key batsmen. Imam Ul Haq, B Azam and S Malik are in good form. Asif Ali will play the role of finisher along with Shadab and M Nawaz.

H Ali and Shaheen Afridi will lead the pace attack along with Junaid/Amir/Usman. M Nawaz and Shadab Khan will be the main spinners along with Shoaib Malik.

Bangladesh:

Imrul Kayes and Soumya Sarkar are added in the squad for remainder of the series. Soumya Sarkar will most probably come in for under-performing N Shanto.
