AUS vs SL Dream11 Team Prediction for 2nd Test: Preview| Test debut for Manuka Oval

Hello and Welcome to our preview for Australia vs Sri Lanka Test match. We are covering AUS vs SL Dream11 team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the second Test match. The match is to be played at the Manuka Oval, Canberra.

The attention in this Test will be on the ground more than the players. Australia has been playing Test cricket since 1877 but they have only ten Test cricket grounds. We recently saw Optus Stadium, Perth making its debut in the India-Australia Tests. Manuka Oval at Canberra will become only the 11^th Test cricket ground in Australia.

Australia destroyed Sri Lanka in the first Test played at the Gabba. Pat Cummins and Jhye Richardson combined to skittle Sri Lanka for only 144 runs in the first innings. Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head scored fighting 80s to attain the lead of 179 runs. Cummins took a six-for to complete the innings and 40 runs win. Australia remained unbeaten in D/N Tests.

Sri Lanka will have much to ponder. Apart from the disastrous batting performance, they have injury concerns too. Lahiru Kumara, their fastest bowler, has been ruled out due to injury. SL batsmen failed to cross 150-run mark twice in the match. Their bowling was better with Lakmal taking a five-wicket to make the match alive.

This the final Test of the mini-series. Australia will be hoping end the season on a happier note after the drubbing India handed. Sri Lanka still seeks their first win on the Australian soil.

Australia has named their playing XI for this Test and it remains unchanged.

Marcus Harris and Joe Burns will open the inning with Usman Khawaja batting at number three.

Marnus Labuschagne, Travis Head, Kurtis Patterson and wicketkeeper-captain Tim Paine follow them.

Nathan Lyon was the groundsman and part of the staff for this ground. He will lead the spin attack with Labuschagne to help if needed.

Pat Cummins, Jhye Richardson and Mitchell Starc continue to their trio.

Sri Lanka:

Sri Lanka is missing Angelo Mathews. Nuwan Pradeep, Dushmantha Chameera and Lahiru Kumara have been ruled out due to injuries. Their bowling attack has weakened considerably.

Dimuth Karunaratne and Lahiru Thirimanne will continue to open the batting for Lankans.

Captain Chandimal, Kusal Mendis, Roshen Silva and Dhananjaya De Silva should once again appear in the middle order.

Niroshan Dickwella, the wicketkeeper, will bat at number seven.

Suranga Lakmal is doubtful due to Stiffness in his back. If He will not fit then Chamika Karunaratne could make his debut.

Dilruwan Perera is sure starters for the second Test.
