Hello and Welcome to our preview for Australia vs Sri Lanka Test match. We are covering AUS vs SL Dream11 team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the first Test match. The match is to be played at the Gabba, Brisbane.
Australia, still without Smith and Warner, conceded a 1-2 defeat against the Indians recently. The strings of losses have forced the selectors to introduce young blood and we will be seeing a lot of debutants in this series. Sri Lanka is yet to win a Test match on the Australian soil and they will treat this as their best chance.
The Australian selectors named a young squad for the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. The likes of Joe Burns and Matt Renshaw disappointed but Kurtis Patterson impressed and earned a Test call-up. Patterson will make his debut in this Test. The bowlers will be tired after the testing summer but they cannot relax against this Sri Lankan outfit.
Sri Lanka has arrived in Australia after a 0-1 loss against New Zealand. They will be missing their best batsman Angelo Mathews but SL does have a decent batting strength. The Lankan unit will be severely tested at Brisbane in the first Test.
