On the second-last day of warm-up matches, Sri Lanka will be squaring off against the defending champions Australia at the Rose Bowl in Southampton which will mark as the 7th warm-up match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
The reigning champions are definitely on a song as they defeated one of the favorites of the title i.e. England in their first warm-up match by 12 runs. The win marked the return to form of the ex-skipper Steven Smith wh compiled a brilliant 116 off 102 deliveries to help Australia reach a formidable 297 on the board.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, were pummeled by the Proteas in their opening warm-up match by a massive margin of 87 runs. They would be eyeing a win here for sure to set the tone before things get heated up.
