AUS vs IND Today Match Prediction : Australia will take on India in the third Test match in Sydney from Thursday, 7th January onwards. After losing the first Test match India bounced back in Melbourne and registered a good 8 wickets win to level the series and now will look for the lead with yet another good performance. On the other hand, Australia will look for revenge with a more improved performance.

Strengths :
Australia’s strength is their bowling attack of Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon as on these wickets they generate good bounce and can rattle any batting unit with their pace and Lyon does support them with his off spin. Then in the batting they have David Warner, Marnus Labuschange and Steven Smith who over the years have been run machine at home. The likes of Matthew Wade and Tim Paine too are in good touch.
On the other hand, India’s strength is the bowling attack of Jasprit Bumrah, R Ashwin, Mohammad Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja as all these bowlers were superb in Melbourne especially Bumrah and Ashwin who are taking a lot of wickets. Then in the batting Ajinkya Rahane, Shubman Gill are in good form and the return of Rohit Sharma will further boost India’s confidence and Pujara and Pant too will look to play big knocks.
Weaknesses :
The poor form of Steven Smith and Marnus Labuschange can be a cause of concern for Australia as the former has scored only 10 runs across 4 innings and then their opener David Warner is also coming from an injury lay-off so they’re a unsettled batting unit at present.
On the other hand, the poor form Mayank Agarwal and Cheteshwar Pujara is a cause of concern for India team and then they have lost some of their main bowlers due to injuries.
