Hello and Welcome to our preview for Australia vs India T20I match. We are covering AUS vs IND Dream11 Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the second T20I match. The match is to be played at The Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne.
The first T20I match of the series ended in a disappointment for the Indian contingent as they went down to the hosts Australia by four runs at the Gabba, Brisbane. The action now moves to the glorious ground of Melbourne where Virat Kohli and men will seek the revival.
In the rain-curtailed game (17-overs each) at Brisbane, the Aussies enjoyed batting first. Chris Lynn 37(20) and Glenn Maxwell 46(24) were particularly severe and continuously clobbered the Indian bowlers over the boundary ropes. Kuldeep Yadav was the standout bowler for India as he picked two wickets for just 24 runs. Krunal Pandya and Khaleel were the disappointments as they conceded 97 runs in their seven overs.
The Indian chase of the adjusted target of 174 was punctured early with Rohit Sharma’s dismissal. Shikhar Dhawan batted brilliantly from the other end and carried nation’s hopes to take them past the target. The left-hander perished for 76 from 42 balls. India lost the plot after his dismissal, and it was Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant who revived chances of a win. The visitors failed to score 13 from the last over bowled by Stoinis and lost the match by 4 runs.

IND:
Virat Kohli (c), Rohit Sharma (vc), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Dinesh Karthik, Rishabh Pant (wk), Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed.
India:
Virat Kohli returns to the squad and shall lead the side. MS Dhoni remains rested and will not feature.
The batting lineup is unlikely to be altered. Rohit, Dhawan, Kohli, KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik should continue in the playing XI. Kohli batted number four in the first game, he must bat again at number three.
Rishabh Pant will continue with the keeping duty.
India will think hard about its bowling attack. They left out Yuzvendra Chahal to include Krunal Pandya. Pandya provides batting depth and perhaps the team management will give him another chance to improve his bowling figures. There are chance that Washington Sundar will be included in place of Krunal.
Khaleel Ahmed was also quite expensive. India can opt for Yuzvendra Chahal at Melbourne.
Australia:
Australian playing XI for the first match was on the expected lines except for the inclusion of Adam Zampa.
Nathan Coulter-Nile was dropped to accommodate the leggie. Zampa was adjudged Man of the Match for his spell of 2/22 in four overs.
Andrew Tye had a horrible day and Australia can replace him with Coulter-Nile, but chance are very less.
Australia opened with Short and Finch in the last game. Lynn, Maxwell, Stoinis, McDermott followed them. Carey was the gloveman.
Stanlake and Behrendorff will lead the bowling. Stoinis, Short and Maxwell will be the filler options.
