Melbourne Renegades did not get a good start to Big Bash League 2018-19 and lost their first match to Sydney Thunder by 6 wickets. Batting first, They failed to put a good show and bundled at 98 runs only. E Kershaw was the only positive who could score 20+ runs. With the ball, Tayla Vlaeminck bowled an unbelievable spell taking four wickets but could not lead her team to victory. They will hope for a unison effort from all teammates in upcoming matches.

D Hazell will come directly in the playing XI replacing Katelyn Pope.
Tabantha Saville can also get a chance in place of Samantha Betts.

Megan Schutt, Tahlia Mcgrath and Sarah Coyte will be the key pacers while A Wellington and D Hazell will lead the spin attack.

They have declared 15 women squad for tomorrow’s encounter. Danielle Wyatt and Zoe Cooke are the additions to the existing squad.
Hard-hitting England opener Danielle Wyatt has joined the squad and will play tomorrow’s encounter.
Anna Lanning can debut for the side in place of Jess Duffin.
Any one among Erica Kershaw and Claire Koski will play. Chances of Kershaw are more.
