Ireland will be hosting Afghanistan for 2 ODIs which will kick-off from May 19th at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast. The final ODI between these two sides will be played at the same venue on May 21st.
Afghanistan are coming into this series after pummeling Scotland in their own backyard by 1-0 in a 2-match series. The first ODI was washed out due to rain but Afghanistan managed a win in the second ODI to claim the series.
Ireland, on the other hand, are coming into this series after a disastrous triangular series which involved Bangladesh and Windies as the other teams. They could not secure a single win in the series and they would love to shrug off their disappointments and start fresh here.
